Indian Space And Research Organisation (ISRO) is readying to take a long leap in its space research,on its first media interaction in New Year ,ISRO Chief K Sivan Conveyed India's plan of Space Mission of 2019 which include 32 Space missions which includes second Lunar mission CHANDRAYAAN - 2 to land with lander and rover and also it is aiming to reinstate its microwave remote-sensing capability through the RISAT (Radar Imaging Satellite) series and attain operational Geo-imaging capability through the GISAT (GEO Imaging Satellite) series.
The GSAT-20’s expected launch is in September or October. Its launch will complete the four satellite set-up in space (others are GSAT-11, GSAT-19 and GSAT-29) to provide 100 GBPS connectivity.
The most Important Announcement is ISRO's Flagship Misson GAGANYAAN which will make India proud of Becoming the 4th Nation in the world of sending Human in Space Mission is by DEC 2021 instead of 2022.
ISRO AMBITIOUS MANNED MISSION
— Gaganyaan is ISRO’s highest priority mission for 2019— The plan is to have the first unmanned mission in December 2020
— The second unmanned mission will take place by July 2021
— The manned mission has been set a December 2021 deadline
With changing times, ISRO is also adapting to the needs and priorities of New India. So ISRO is using the 30,000 crore rupees package given by the Centre for further development of its PSLV, GSLV and Gaganyaan missions apart from job creation.
It is also contributing to Start Up India by setting up 6 incubation centres which will provide training for all projects.
Clearly, ISRO is ready to chart out a new course of success in the coming years
